Four Peaks 4 Weeks is a month-long hiking challenge designed for adventurers of all skill levels who want to explore Alaska’s beautiful mountains and trails. It’s as simple as:

HIKE OPTIONS

1. Long Lake Loop

4.3-mile loop trail near Palmer, Alaska. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 48 min to complete. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas.

2. Rabbit Lake Trail

The route to Rabbit Lake is a 8.6-mile, moderate climb up an old road bed that eventually turns to singletrack. Your reward for the long climb is that the trail ends at a gorgeous alpine lake.

3. Gold Star Peak

The trail features a steep and rugged ascent, making it best suited for experienced hikers. As you climb, you'll pass through alpine meadows and rocky ridges, with sweeping vistas that grow more dramatic with elevation.

4. Upper Winner Creek Trail

Discover this 8.6-mile out-and-back trail near Girdwood, Alaska. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 52 min to complete.

5. Bear Creek Trail

This route is accessed by turning off Hope Road onto Bear Creek Road. Bear Creek Road is an old mining road that goes for almost a mile to a gate.

The choice is yours! Hike any trail any where and have it count towards this challenge.
